For Additional Information

Thanks for your interest in the new WICT Career Center!

For those candidates requiring confidentiality, you must take steps to protect your confidentiality in order to use the new WICT Career Center. The e-mail feature allows candidates to send resumés to companies and allows companies to communicate with candidates, confidentially. However, you must use discretion when posting your resumé, as follows below.

Candidates, not WICT, are solely responsible for maintaining confidentiality.

Choosing the confidentfeature allows candidates to:

  1. Post a resume without disclosing identity. The candidate should not include their name or other identifying information in the body of the resumé. Rather, a synopsis of skills and previous employment, including relevant keywords, should be used.
  2. Receive inquiries from companies without the candidate's identity being revealed (providing the candidate has taken measures to remain anonymous.)

If a candidate who has chosen the Confidentiality feature responds to a job listing and sends a resumé to a company, the name in the profile of the candidate will be replaced with the word, "Confidential", as will all contact information and current employer.
